We're a local chapter of the worldwide effective altruism movement, a research field and philosophical community focused on maximizing the good you can do throughout your life with your time, work, and resources.

Our mission

Everyone wants to do good, and we believe in identifying the paths that will maximize our ability to do so. The EA movement arose out of a desire to make sure that attempts to do good actually work.
